How It Works & Why SEMrush Copying Breaks

Why does SEMrush paste into 1 column?
When you highlight a table in SEMrush and hit Ctrl+C, SEMrush puts every HTML cell, domain badge, and multi-tag Intent pill (C, I, N, T) on a separate newline character (\n). Spreadsheet software treats newlines as new rows, causing 200+ vertical cells in a single column!
How does this tool fix it?
Our engine scans the pasted header block to detect competitor domain names and metric columns (Volume, KD%, CPC, Com., Results). It then intelligently groups multi-line Intent codes together and aligns every keyword row back into tab-separated values (TSV) ready for Google Sheets or Excel.
